Who we are

Zeyno is operated by Marcin Pasiewicz, an individual developer (sole proprietor) based in Gdańsk, Poland. This policy explains what data we collect through the Zeyno app, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. It's governed by Polish law and, where applicable, EU regulations including the GDPR.

What Zeyno is

Zeyno is an AI companion app for iOS and Android, built around a companion named Sage. It's designed for working adults experiencing loneliness. Zeyno is not therapy, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional mental health care.

Information we collect

• Email address — optional, only if you choose to add one for cross-device sync.
• Conversations with Sage — the messages you send, stored to power Sage's memory and personalization. We use similarity search over past conversations so Sage can recall context.
• Mood tracking data — moods you log yourself, and moods Sage infers from your conversations.
• Anonymous user ID— a randomly generated identifier created by our database provider, Supabase. Zeyno works anonymously by default — you don't need to log in.
• Purchase and subscription history — managed through RevenueCat.
• Usage and product analytics — how you interact with the app, collected via PostHog.
• Display name — if you choose to share one, so Sage can address you by it.

How we use it

• To provide and personalize Zeyno's core features — conversation, memory, and mood tracking.
• To process and manage your subscription.
• To understand how the app is used and to improve it.
• To respond when you contact support.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers. We do share data with the following service providers, who process it on our behalf:

• Anthropic (Claude API) — processes your conversation content to generate Sage's responses.
• Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication, in the EU (Ireland, eu-west-1).
• RevenueCat — manages subscription and payment status.
• PostHog (EU-hosted) — product analytics.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — process your actual payment. Zeyno never receives or stores your raw card details.

Data retention

After you delete your account, we delete your conversation and mood data within 30 days.

Your rights

If the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and export the data we hold about you, and to withdraw any consent you've given us at any time.

Age requirement

Zeyno is rated 18+ and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date above.
